Baliguian Island Water Project
Baliguian Island is a small but isolated island of the coastline of Concepcion in the Province of Iloilo in the Philippines. Its located in the central part of the Philippines known as the Visayas.
The total population of the island is about a 1000 people. There are about 200 families in the island, including children. The entire island is without clean, drinking water. They travel by boat for 1 hour and back in order to get fresh, clean water.
Balicjawan Elementary School
Balicjawan Elementary School is an elementary school in the Concepcion Barangay in the Province of Iloilo. Total students are around 350. It was once a school just for 1st and 2nd graders. A large of influx of students came into Balicjawan Elementary because most of their families were displaced by Hurricane Haiyan.
